This is the first page a user will see after logging in.
It shows ...
- the working staff for the next 4 weeks (including the current one.
- Company diary entries
- Personal diary entries for the user
- General diary entries such as public holidays.
The security level of the logged in user will determine what data is shown.

VIEWING
Use the filters (Jobs, Locations, Staff, Shifts) to get a more selective view. Click the Reset button to return to the normal view
CHANGE THE WEEK
Use the and to display previous and next weeks in the chart, or use the dropdown list.
TEXT SIZE
This website uses relative font sizing, so you can alter the size of the text to your preference. In your browser, choose View > Text Size.
DIARY COMMENTS
Click on the date number of the day. You'll get a pop up window allowing you to make personal comments.
PRINTING
To print the calendar, use the 'printer friendly' options. If you have filtered the calendar use This View to print it. The Printer Friendly links will open a new window with a layout designed for clear printing. Click on the printer icon in the window to proceed with printing. Before printing you can change the orientation from portrait to landscape. Close that window when you are done printing.
EDITING
Click on the list of working staff to go to the edit page for that day.
OTHER VIEWS
As an alternative to Calendar view, try the Column, Chart, and Weekly Views.
MONITOR HOURS WORKED
- To view the hours/shifts worked by staff click on Hours Report A new window will open.
- You can leave the window open while you make edits.
- Return to the Hours window and click refresh to see the effect of your changes.
- To view the calendar in chart form click Chart
- The different colour shading on the day numbers indicates the current broadcast and settled dates.
COPYING
To copy a day's working to other days, click on Copy. A pop up will appear.
HIDING THE SIDE MENU
To give more space to the calendar you can hide the side menu by clicking on the << at the top left of the calendar. Most advanced users do this.
BROADCAST DATE
This is the date that the staff have their rota information for. As well as showing at the top of the screen the calendar is colour-coded to show it. The broadcasted date is changed by broadcasting the rota. There is also an option in Set Display to restrict calendar entries to those that have been broadcasted.
SETTLED DATE
This is the date that the administrator is working up to. It is, in effect, the next broadcast date. As well as showing at the top of the screen the calendar is colour-coded to show it. The settled date is changed from the day edit page.
CHANGING THE DISPLAY FORMATS
You can change the way the names and shifts are displayed so that they use less space. For example: Change the name so that William Shakespeare is displayed as W Shakespeare, William S, or William. Likewise, shift names can be hidden from view. Click on Settings > Display from the side menu.
