Web page name: Unacknowledged.aspx

The Unacknowledged page helps you track whether staff have seen (hence acknowledged) their future shifts. The page lists the shifts of all staff who haven't logged into their rota since the shift was assigned. Additionally, it gives a very quick method for you to remind the staff that they should check their rota, by email or SMS. The act of a staff member logging into a rota signifies that the shifts have been acknowledged by them.

Which shifts are listed?

Shifts are only shown from now until your next broadcasted date, for any shifts created or broadcasted for that period. When a person logs in, the site sets all his shifts between now and the broadcast date as acknowledged. Image:ssunacklist.jpg

The Administrator has the choice of 3 actions:

1) Click the email. This will send an email reminding the person that they are required to log into their rota.

2) Click their phone/SMS number. This will send a message reminding the person that they are required to log into their rota.

3) Click OK. The enables you to acknowledge a person's shifts on their behalf. Doing so will remove all a person's shifts from the list.

You'll notice that when you click any of the above, the page will refresh and the relevant link (i.e. the email or SMS) will no longer be visible for this session, just to save you from mistakenly sending duplicates.

Customising the messages

You should customise your default email messages to ensure that the right information is sent to your staff. Click the Edit button to revise your default text. Click the Save button to save the email and SMS text.
