User level

We have given the 5 user levels representative names for your guidance, although your own usage may vary. They confer no other functionality except as labels for the user levels.
User Level 4 - Assistant
- Can view and print their own rota, participate in the noticeboard, amend own settings
- Subject to settings: Request days off, request swaps, volunteer for vacant shifts, view contact list.
User Level 3 - Supervisor
- Can view and print staff working on the same day and location as themselves, participate in the noticeboard, amend own settings.
- Subject to settings: Request days off, request swaps, volunteer for vacant shifts, view contact list.
User Level 2 - Manager
- Can view and print staff at all locations, participate in the noticeboard, amend own settings.
- Subject to settings: Request days off, request swaps, volunteer for vacant shifts, view contact list.
User Level 1 - Administrator
- Can view and print staff at all locations, participate in the noticeboard, amend own settings.
- Subject to individual security settings: Can carry out nearly all administrative functions.
System Administrator
A level 1 user is regarded as the system administrator, and has access to Set Security where all other level 1 access is granted. (By default, the System Administrator is the person who created the rota.)
User Level 0 - Invisible Administrator
- This user never appears in the calendar and cannot be rostered. Suitable for accounts department or executives.
- Can view and print staff at all locations, participate in the noticeboard, amend own settings.
- Subject to individual security settings: Can carry out nearly all administrative functions.
