This page uses popup windows to allow you to make changes. Make sure they are not blocked on your browser.
How to Edit
Click on any of the data within the grid.
- A popup will appear, allowing you to change the details
- If it is a working item, those details will show on the popup. Change them as required.
- If it is a non-working item (ie. A, D, P) then the person's default selection will appear in the dropdown lists. Don't forget to change it to Working if that is what you require.
- The popup stays open, allowing you to change further items. Otherwise, close the popup and select another item.
Unfilled Positions
This shows the positions from Minimum Levels which haven't yet been filled.
- Click on one you wish to fill.
- The Fill Shift popup will appear.
- A drop-down list shows staff that can fulfil this. The available staff are listed first, then the resting staff.
- The popup will close when you update.
Printing
- THIS prints a representation of the data on the page, including the unfilled items.
- GRID is a grid-like format suitable only for rotas with no more than 3 locations.
Do explore the various print options available. They can present the data in styles very different to the screen view. These are programmed to meet specific user requirements and you might find one that is perfect for your own situation.
Most times, the printout will resize to your paper, but in many cases you will obtain better results by changing your printer to landscape mode.
- This option is available subject to permissions in Set Security.
- A more comprehensive system for broadcasting is in the Broadcast menu. This feature allows for the quick broadcast of the week displayed.
- It broadcasts emails or SMS's only to those staff who are working this week and have a valid email or SMS number.
FORCE REFRESH
The program decides whether the data needs to be refreshed on this page by monitoring changes you've made elsewhere.
Should you find that this page doesn't reflect recent changes, try the Force Refresh button.
